Spiritual Accompaniment

Spiritual accompaniment invites you to journey in faith and discernment, drawing closer to God. Whether you seek clarity in your spiritual life or support through life’s challenges, this service provides space for reflection, growth, and exploring your experiences and hopes, helping you live in greater harmony with the Holy Spirit.

Frequently Asked Questions

I mean that I’m a practicing Catholic and a person of prayer, actively seeking to discern the guidance of the Holy Spirit in my life. My faith is well-formed, and I strive to honour my relationship with God through prayer, service, and participation in community life.

I hold a Master of Counselling degree and have extensive experience in individual, couple, and family counselling. I also lecture in counselling at a postgraduate level and am a member of the Australian Counselling Association, a national accrediting body for counsellors. I have over 20 of experience in counselling and relationship education.

Not a problem! While my counselling service provides a safe space for people of faith, it’s equally open to everyone, regardless of their spiritual beliefs. Many clients without a faith background choose my counselling services because they value the principles that guide people of faith. At other times, they have been referred by someone who found my counselling helpful and professional. If you’re not a person of faith I’ll keep my focus on delivering professional counselling tailored to your needs.

Unfortunately, not at this stage. Medicare rebates under a mental health care plan are generally only available for sessions with a registered psychologist. However, many clients find that, even without the rebate, my fees are comparable to or more affordable than those of standard psychological services.

  • Childhood sexual abuse

  • Anger management

  • Personal and professional growth

  • Couple and family therapy

For over 18 years, I served as the Director of the Centre for Life, Marriage and Family in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Perth, where I supported individuals and couples with sound counselling practices grounded in respect for their beliefs and values.

A Professional Yet Faith-Aware Approach

Whether faith is central to your life or not, my counselling practice offers a respectful, non-judgemental space to explore your concerns. For those who do value faith, I bring an understanding of its role in personal and relational well-being. For Christian married couples, I provide specialised support grounded in the dignity and vocation of marriage.
